56 Abbott Street is a prized corner site, with only short walk to the Sandringham foreshore. The Beach House Terraces development comprises 16 townhouses set within a highly landscaped setting that features a heritage listed African olive tree.
The townhouses located on Abbott Street read as three individual dwellings, each with its own clear identity. To the east and west of the site, the building forms act as book-ends to the single-storey residence located closest to the African Olive tree.
The architectural design of the townhouses is contemporary, using a limited colour palette. This is enhanced by the varying textures of materials and the careful integration of bold coloured features proving each townhouse with a distinct identity.
